The North West region
Rally was held on Saturday 15th
March. This year it was the turn of the
Waverton Hand Bell ringers to host the
event. The massed ring was held in the
newly decorated civic hall in Ellesmere Port
and was well supported as can be seen from
the photographs below.
In the morning two
workshops were held. One to give ringers a
feel for composing hand bell music and the
second giving an introduction into some of
the software available to compose music on
computers. In the afternoon everyone had a
great time in the massed ringing event and
also individual performances by the groups.
It has to be said that the standard of
ringing was superb and a credit to the
groups of the area.

conductors in the massed ringing.
